Leave Hereford City on the A438 as for Ledbury. Continue through the villages of Lugwardine and Bartestree then after a further 1.5 miles take the right turn (on the left hand bend) as for Dormington and Mordiford. Continue for a further 0.75 mile then just beyond a large pylon take the small left turn signposted Priors Frome. Follow the lane then at the T junction, turn right then bear left almost immediately for Woolhope and Checkley.
